“I love designing, working with color and texture,” expresses Tessa, creator of Tessa’s Table, who was previously an interior designer for 20 years. Tessa’s love to entertain guests evolved into this custom charcuterie & cheese board business. She strives to feature locally-sourced produce alongside Trader Joe and Whole Foods selections. The decorative touches and food styling on the charcuterie are well-thought-out, including a unique bite that’s made from scratch.

Other boards generally focus on an abundance of a few things, whereas Tessa’s boards feature a variety of diverse things presented in a beautiful way. The board has a great balance between salty and sweet, offering an interactive experience with a honey dipper and edible garnishes.

“I feel like I’m travelling around the world the more I eat,” says Ryan Butron, who enjoyed picking at this particular board, which featured seasonal produce and jams. Check out this charming charcuterie!

🌰 Autumn-Themed

The fall vibes of this board are delivered by in-season flavors. The figs had a gritty texture with seeds and floral filaments. Grapes and blackberries capture sweet autumn tastes, moving away from summertime strawberries. The candied pecans offered a sweet-salty crunch, alongside rosemary wine crackers for an earthy bite.

🧀 Board Favorite

With the immense amount of selections, the brie was the crowd-pleaser of the evening. It’s topped with a real honey comb, which offered a thick, sweet taste that complimented the buttery texture of the brie. The flower garnish portrayed attention to design, adding a pop of color for visual interest. We dedicated the wooden utensils, provided with the board, to this little wedge of brie.

🍅 Variety

The excitement of choice is a key element to this charcuterie. The vast amount of options make the grazing experience an eye-jog. The salted cured meat options included prosciutto and salami, alongside cucumbers for moisture. The Lesley Stowe crisps offered additional texture to the board. The diverse tastes include baby pickles for a salty bite, and fresh fruit for a sweet bite. Nearing the end of my charcuterie experience, I picked at the salted caramel dark chocolate; a perfect dessert to end with.

🍯 Interactivity

The honey was a unique element to the board, allowing grazers to utilize a comb wand for drizzling viscous honey on a cheese of choice. The miniature honey jar was an adorable touch. Shelled nuts allowed people to pick seeds open, while eating floral garnishes became a topic of conversation. These moments of activity gave this charcuterie a unique experience that entertained the entire room.
